NORTH OUTDOOR – RETURNS & WITHDRAWAL POLICY

At North Outdoor, we want you to be completely satisfied with your products. Below you will find instructions for returns and cancellations.

1. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

You have the legal right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins from the day you receive the order.

Cancellations and returns can be easily managed at nurthoutdoor.com/en/pages/exchanges-and-returns.

We will send you confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal notice by email without delay. See section 7 for other ways to exercise your right of withdrawal.

Return costs: You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, which is €5. If you use our return label, you authorise us to offset this amount against the refund. Alternatively you may return the goods yourself at your own cost.

2. Exchange (Free)

We offer one free size exchange within 14 days of receiving the product. Exchanges can be initiated at nurthoutdoor.com/en/pages/exchanges-and-returns.

3. 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Our 100-day satisfaction guarantee applies to all North Outdoor merino knits manufactured in Oulu. This guarantee is an additional benefit that complements the statutory 14-day right of return.

This commercial guarantee does not limit your statutory rights, including the right of withdrawal and the statutory legal guarantee.

4. Restrictions on the Right of Withdrawal and Condition of the Product

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal: The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:

  • Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

Condition of the product and diminished value: You have the right to examine the goods as you would in a physical store. However, if the goods have been handled more than necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, the consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods. North Outdoor reserves the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the diminished value from the refund.

5. Processing a Return

  1. Pack the products carefully. You may use the original shipping packaging.
  2. Remove or cover any old shipping labels.
  3. Take the package to the designated return point according to the instructions provided.

6. Refunds

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). If you use our return label, we will offset the €5 direct return cost, which you bear, against the refund.

The refund will be issued no later than 14 days using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.

7. Statutory Information on the Right of Withdrawal

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period (14 days) has expired. You may use the model withdrawal form below or any other unequivocal statement.
