The heavier the knit, the thicker and warmer the garment. Lightweight under 320 g/m², midweight 320–440 g/m², heavyweight over 440 g/m².
The thickness of the merino fibre. The lower the number, the softer the knit and the gentler it feels against the skin. A human hair is approx. 70 µm thick.

An absolutely lovely, high-quality knit sweater that instantly became my favourite. Light but warm, and it doesn't make you sweat either. A lovely light green shade, which is sadly hard to find in any clothing. A big plus that North Outdoor sweaters always have sleeves long enough even for a long-armed woman like me.
Aivan ihana, laadukas neulepusero, josta tuli välittömästi suosikkineule. Kevyt, mutta lämmin, muttei myöskään hiosta. Ihana vaalean vihreä värisävy, jota on harmillisen vähän tarjolla missään vaatteissa. Iso plussa siitä, että North Outdoorin puseroissa on aina riittävän pitkät hihat tällaiselle apinakätiselle naisellekin.
Perfect sizing. I chose my usual size and it's nicely relaxed but not oversized. Beautiful spring-like colour. I'm tempted to order another one in a different colour.
